Alopecia Totalis- is an autoimmune disorder which effectively turns your own immune system against your hair follicles. It results in total hair loss on the scalp, and can affect eyebrows and eyelashes as well, but this is the extent of the condition.
Alopecia Universalis- is total hair loss across the whole body. There is no medical clarity as to why people suffer from Alopecia however the majority of hair loss instances of this type is related to stress often caused by trauma.
